Leaving mid-afternoon on Friday, we headed toward the CA/NV
state line winding into the mountains.
We camped for two nights at Emigrant Gap TT, a huge and beautiful campground. The view from our door was lovely. We spent very little time here; it was simply the closest free option to Reno, allowing us to avoid towing the camper over Donner Pass.
